Zionism & Terrorism (a Greta rant)

I have a few personal observaions of my own to add about the war in Israel. I went to a lecture the other night & watched a powerpoint presentation called “peace & quiet.” The point was that Israel doesn’t expect peace (impossible), but would like things to be quiet. I see the majority of Jews and Zionists of all faiths uniting together to back Isreal. There is distention in our own governement between parties & the same with Israeli politics. Just like the left attacking the right during wartime, Israel is bickering amongst themselves. I believe we all have a common goal (at least all civilized people), which is peace & no more loss of life. So please don’t let that distract you from the main point: the Jews have been attacked by TERRORISTS – MURDERERS for years. They didn’t start it but they have to finish it for the sake of themselves & the free world!

If you haven’t figured it out by now, Hezbollah knows they can’t defeat the organized IDF easily, so they play dirty. They store weapons in school houses, homes for the elderly and taunt Israel by strategically firing weapons from civilian areas, so when Israel returns fire- it always looks like Israel is attacking civilians!!! Don’t get sucked into anti-Israel headlines: “Isreal kills, The poor Palestinians, Israel attacks…go look, you won’t see anything about the “poor Israelis being attacked by terrorists year after year.”

As far as I am concerned, if you speak in favor Hezbollah, speak out about Israel purposely targeting innocent civilians or can’t decide which side you are on YOU ARE TERRORIST SYMPATHIZER!!! Black & white to me.

I take this war on terror and anti-semitism very seriously as I watched my children go to the Jewish Community Center camp today with 2 armed policemen at the door. Temples are being defaced, anti-semitism has reared its’ ugly head in full force in our country. This war effects all of us – Jewish, Arab, Muslim – any living -breathing human being.

And where is Hollywood? All we hear about are the anti-semetic remarks made by Mel Gibson. Well I think it is just as bad for someone like Babs to not defend her homeland and speak out in favor of Israel. I guess this Jewish blogger (and I am not the only one) will have to do what I can from my computer for now. My fellow Jewish bloggers have been getting nastyand threatening e-mails for some time now – I have pretty much managed to stay under the radar so far. But I will continue to speak my peace & support Israel “Long live Israel!!!”
