I got these images from one of my Myspace friends. There were taken by someone who was visiting the wall afterwards. It appears to be some sort of oily substance that’s discolored the shine of the stone. It doesn’t appear to be too bad, but the more porous areas where the names have been etched seem to have taken the worse damage as the oil, or what ever it is, has been absorbed into the stone. Officials don’t know who did this but think whomever it was had a bottle of the substance tucked away so that it couldn’t be seen.

I think that the pinko-whackos are around a lot this week. This makes me very sad because I know that the Gathering of Eagles meant so much to so many Vets. It was their way of protecting their legacy and protecting the memory of their fallen comrades. Who ever did this should be sentenced to clean every single desert boot that comes back from Iraq with his/her personal toothbrush. Seriously. This is despicable.
