OK – I listened to the BS

First off let me say, I think this was a good discussion and forum to hear an evil man speak at Columbia. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinijad said what he wanted to say and didn’t answer yes or no answers when asked. I won’t write a long essay, but will share some immediate thoughts and points:
* he is completely full of BS
* he is completely full of BS
* he is completely full of BS
* I think this was a great forum
* he danced around any direct questions that were asked
* I think the questions were all excellent
* the reason he doesn’t have homosexuals in Iran is because he executed them all
* Iranian women are not empowered – BS to say they are
* just like OJ is out there looking for the killer, he is looking for the true meaning of the Holocaust and 9/11 – just more BS
* he hates Jews and Israel and would like to wipe it off the map
* he wants nuclear weapons
* he is no victim
* he likes to play the Palestinian victim card
* he thinks poor Palestinians are being punished forever from WWII (where there were no Concentration Camps)
* if he made any good points it was: that he should be able to execute because we do the same thing & that he should be able to have nuclear weapons if we do
* hmmmm…..wonder if any of the Jewish students will take him up on his offer to come visit and speak at a University in his Country????

It doesn’t matter what I think, it happened and I’m glad it did. I would prefer he never be allowed into this country – but he did that too. In Columbia’s defense, the opening statements by the President of the University, really set their tone and agenda.

Did anyone else find it odd that he kept referring to science in just about every statement he made? And when talking about women’s rights & homosexual he went off on some bizarre rant about drugs and murderers.

I watched Ahmadinejad’s speech at Columbia University today. Its being covered extensively over the blogs, so I will be brief. The man is smart, possibly brilliant, he is charming in the sense that a sociopath is charming, he had a Clintonesque quali….
