The Nothing Post
October 30, 2007
This post has absolutely nothing to do with anything. I though it would be a good experiment to try a post in which people can talk about anything they want. You want to talk about that new HDTV you just bought? Do so. You want to talk about crime statistics or what’s happening in the War? Go for it. You want to talk about your son’s birthday party coming up? Feel free. And if you want to start talking about something else other than what’s being talk about at the time be my guest. I just though it would give us all a chance to learn a little bit more about each other.

Well, since it is my post I guess I should start it.
Silke. As a Star Trek fan, what do you think about Shatner not being included in the upcoming Trek movie? Personally, I think it’s horrible. If you’re going to have Nimoy, and are wanting to get the diehards and new fans to come see it you need William Shatner.

I am remodeling our bathroom and being the general contractor. What a huge headache. Can you believe it is difficult to buy a bathtub with plumbing and plumber costs for under $3,000!!!!!???

I wish I could remodel my bathroom. This thing is ugly. What I wish I could do it have an air vent put in. In the Summer it’s hotter than hell and during the winter it’s ice cold. It’s no fun sitting on a cold toilet seat in the morning.

Chris, to be honest I’m more of a New Generation fan so I’m not that concerned that Shatner is not being included.
Greta, good luck with the bathroom remodeling. I’m sure with you as the general contractor the project will be completed on time and under budget.
Happy Halloween everyone! I would like to know what everyone’s plans for Halloween are.

My heart breaks
And for Halloween, I’m planning on watching the live Ghost Hunters on Sci Fi and handing out candy to the 3 or 4 kids that come to the door.

Great idea,Chris…a nothing post:)
I’ll be working this evening
however, we Do apparently have ghosts where I work:)
I’ve heard some things, but thank heavens never Seen anything yet (and hope I never do!!) Even tho our building is only 3 years old, we’re apparently built over the site of an 1800-something murder/fire.
On second floor, we often hear what sounds like children running on third floor in the evening…even tho no one is ever there!!!
And then there was the time a visitor came to the dining room and asked her brother “who are the two little girls upstairs visiting?” Dead silence, the hairs on the back of my neck standing up…there were NO little girls visiting!!
Fun place to work, lol, on night shift….high level of adrenaline the whole shift!!
In response to the other stuff…my bathroom thankfully doesn’t need remodeling, and I have warm feelings about William Shatner:)

Oh, see. Were I ever to hear something like that, let alone see it, no thank you. You’d never get me back in there.
