Maybe if someone lit a fire under his campaign ass it would have worked – damn – I’m really pissed off right now. But I can’t say I didn’t see it coming.

I’m sorry to hear that, Greta. He wasn’t my first choice but he was the only one with the courage to talk about out of control spending and the entitlement programs that will bankrupt this country if we don’t fix them soon. Who will you be voting for now?

Maybe…McCain

I didn’t watch the debate but I have seen some of the highlight clips and I was impressed with how Obama stood up to Hillary Clinton. This is someone who I could definitely vote for.

NO! You will vote for McCain or another republican if McCain doesn’t win the primary.
Otherwise, ye shall be shangied and sent to Isla De La Morta!
Of course, if you are nice, I will put a nice McCain sticker on the sidebar for ye!

Oops! My last comment was supposed to go on Greta’s other post about the democratic debate. Sorry for any confusion.
Teach, if it comes down to Obama and McCain I don’t know who I’ll vote for. I haven’t made up my mind. It sure would be a great race though!

Not quite there yet Teach…..I posted about a year ago that he and HIllary were my worst nightmares. Eating my words a little – I think

Well, my comment was directed at Silke. Right now, I am leaning Mitt, but, people can change my mind.

What bothers me about Mitt is that he just doesn’t seem very genuine to me. All politicians pander but he seems to do it more than the others. John McCain is a genuine war hero – that should count for something…especially now.

Giuliani could be following Thompson if he doesn’t do good in Florida. And Huckabee will have to have damn good “Super Tuesday” to survive. Those two drop out and there’s no one I care to vote for.

I don’t get it. Giuliani and Huckabee are about as opposite as you can get. What’s wrong with McCain, Chris? He is the most experienced on national security and Iraq and he is tough on spending.

But he doesn’t speak to me. While experience is a big thing, it’s not the only thing. At least not for me. The candidate has to speak to me. Giuliani and Huckabee do that. They’re personable, down to Earth guys. I like them. And I have to like them to vote for them.
